Kevin Hamilton has earned the respect and trust of a wide range of clientèle. Known for his comfortable style of directing talent and his flexible and effective production techniques, he is considered to be a great source of innovative and cost-effective creative ideas, and a catalyst to success.

In 1988, Mr. Hamilton enrolled in a two-year engineering program at Trebas Institute of Recording Arts in Vancouver. In 1989/90 he was hired as a staff member a full year before completing the program. Responsible for the management of the school's recording studio, Kevin was given full access to the facilities, including after-hours access to the college and its studios. This unique opportunity allowed Mr. Hamilton the countless hours of experience needed in becoming thoroughly familiar with a recording studio environment.

In 1990, Murray Price, a Production Engineer with Koko Productions, hired Kevin as an assistant. By mid-1992, Wayne Kozak of Koko Productions recognized the potential of Mr. Hamilton and hired him as a Freelance Production Engineer; this relationship continues to this day.

During his time spent at Koko Productions, Mr. Hamilton worked on ad campaigns for many clients, including Honda, Money Mart, Mattel, Commonwealth Games, Ford, General Motors, Top Food and Drugs, London Drugs, BC Tel, Telus, General Foods, K-Swiss, Labatt's, Kokanee, ICBC, Sun Rype, Disney, McDonald's, Richmond Savings, Safeway, Levis and hundreds more.

Since 1993, Mr. Hamilton has branched into just about all aspects of audio production, creating memorable albums such as the award-winning, multi-platinum album "Silver" by Moist in 1994 which has gone on to sell nearly 500,000 copies in Canada alone. Kevin has also worked with artists such as Sarah McLachlan, Grapes of Wrath, The Rose Chronicles, Len, and Tara MacLean.

Kevin Hamilton also records and mixes music and soundtracks for numerous local composers such as Terry Frewer (Lonesome Dove, Neon Rider, Black Beauty, The Chris Isaac Show), Lesley Sutherland (Canadian Gardener, In The Company Of Women, Cosmic Odyssey with William Shatner), and Ari Wise (Silver Wing, Sausage Factory, Tokyo Cowboy).

Kevin Hamilton has also handled the post-production for many TV series and documentaries such as Suzuki Speaks and Human Trials, and many short films.
